WLBT Anchor Holiday Cocktail Recipes!

It's Holiday Cocktail Week! Here are some holiday cocktails named after some of your favorite WLBT Anchors!

Patrick's Poinsettia

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. of Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 1 oz. Cranberry juice
  • Champagne or Sparkling Wine

Directions

  1. Build in Champagne Flute 
  2. Garnish with cranberries

Symphonie's Snowball

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. agave syrup
  • 2 oz. of coconut milk 
  • 1 oz. of lime juice 
  • 1 oz. triples sec 
  • 1.5oz tequila

Directions

  1. In a shaker, combine all ingredients
  2. Fill shaker with ice
  3. Rim glass with salt or sugar (optional) 
  4. Shake and strain over ice
  5. garnish with lime and pomegranate

The Winter Wilson

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. of Bourbon
  • 1oz. fresh lemon juice 
  • 2 to 4 teaspoons maple syrup, to taste
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Fill shaker or mason jar about two-thirds full with ice. Pour in the bourbon, lemon juice, maple syrup and a pinch of ground cinnamon. Shake!
  2. Strain over ice.
  3. Garnish with lemon and cinnamon stick

Christmas Cheryl

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. of simple syrup
  • 2 oz. of vodka
  • 2oz. Pomegranate Juice
  • Top Cranberry Ginger Ale 

Directions

  1. Fill shaker  with ice. Pour simple syrup, vodka, and pomegranate juice in shaker. Shake!
  2. Strain over ice.
  3. Top with Cranberry Ginger Ale
  4. Garnish with pomegranate

Barbie's Bells

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. Hawaiian Punch Green Berry Rush
  • 4 oz. pineapple juice
  • lemon lime soda
  • red sand sugar  
  • lime 

Directions

  1. Use lime to rim the glass, place sugar on a separate plate
  2. Dip rim in red sand sugar
  3. Fill glass with ice
  4. Combine final ingredients in glass
  5. Garnish with lime wedge
