Mississippi State Fair

The fair will take place October 2-14 at the MS State Fairgrounds, and Commissioner Andy Gipson invites you to join in the festivities of the 160th Mississippi State Fair!




Ferris Wheel Run Against Traffick 5K

Put on your running(or jogging) shoes for a cause! Saturday, October 5th at 8 am race against human trafficking!

Run Against Traffick 5K will host its 2nd annual Walk/Run on October 5th to bring awareness to human trafficking. All proceeds will support nonprofits that reach out to victims here in Mississippi.

Farish Street Heritage Festival

The biggest Southern Soul party of the year at the 39th Annual Farish Street Heritage Festival, Saturday, October 5th.

Three Stages, 13 Performers, Super Cocktail Lounge, Blues, R&B, Gospel and Southern Soul.

Tickets are $25

Cathead OktoberFest

Saturday, October 5th from 1pm-7pm join Cathead Distillery, Capital City Beverages and Burgers and Blues for some food, fun and a good time all in the name of Oktoberfest!

This event is family, kids and dog friendly!

Tickets are $10 and $20 for a ticket and a stein! Purchase tickets at the door or online HERE!
