You may have heard of this 444 mile recreational road but Natchez Trace Parkway is much more than just a scenic drive!
Following the Natchez Trace Parkway you can drive through three states. Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama
The parkway roughly follows the “Old Natchez Trace” a historic travel corridor used by Native Americans, European settlers, traders of enslaved people, soldiers, and future presidents.
The Natchez Trace Parkway manages three campgrounds. The three Parkway campgrounds are free and available on a first come, first serve basis.
Today, people can enjoy not only a scenic drive but also hiking, biking, horseback riding, and camping along the parkway.
From activities to history, the Natchez Trace Parkway is perfect place for relaxation and taking in the beauty of nature around you.
