Burger King Chicken Sandwich
Burger King is joining the epic chicken sandwich battle with an upgraded sandwich.
Apparently you can’t win a fast food war with just Whoppers alone so the fast food chain is replacing its current Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a new version. It will be served on a potato bun and feature hand-breaded chicken.
Chicken Sandwiches Duking it Out
Competition in the chicken sandwich arena has really been a trend that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. Popeye’s saw great success with a new launch of a chicken sandwich in 2019 to rival with the tried and true Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich. Burger King says that’s when the restaurant began working on its new chicken sandwich.

Since the debut of the Popeye’s chicken sandwich that caused lines to wrap around locations worldwide, other fast food giants like Wendy’s, KFC, and McDonald’s have introduced their own new chicken sandwiches. Chick-fil-A, however, has remained a fan favorite.
A New Kind of Battle – Fish Sandwich War
Popeyes made headlines last year when it launched a new Popeyes’ chicken sandwich. Fast forward six months, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen chain announced it was launching a new fish sandwich to rival the infamous McDonald’s Fish Sandwich. Last week, Popeyes Cajun Flounder Sandwich made its debut at restaurants nationwide.
