Krispy Kreme to honor 2020 seniors with free ‘Graduate Dozen’ doughnuts

Krispy Kreme wants to offer a sweet gesture to high school and college graduates unable to walk across the stage due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The company announced it wants to brighten spirits and help seniors celebrate with a special batch of free doughnuts on Tuesday, May 19.

Seniors can get a free “Graduate Dozen” by showing up to a participating Krispy Kreme location dressed in their graduation cap and gown or other senior swag from the following list:

  • Cap and gown with 2020 tassel
  • Class of 2020 apparel (t-shirt, sweatshirt, etc.)
  • 2020 letterman jacket featuring senior status
  • 2020 class ring
  • Graduation announcement featuring name with matching ID
  • Student photo ID featuring senior status
  • Other Class of 2020 senior swag

Graduating patrons can also get the doughnuts by curbside pickup via online or app orders, or in the drive-thru.

The box comes with an assortment of classic varieties including chocolate iced kreme filled, strawberry iced kreme filled, cake batter filled, chocolate iced with sprinkles, strawberry iced with sprinkles and yellow iced original glazed doughnuts.

While the complimentary dozen for seniors is only available on May 19, the general public can scoop the special dozen during the entire week of May 18 to May 24, at participating locations.
