Clarksdale Juke Joint Festival goes virtual

Corona can’t stop the blues!

The Clarksdale Juke Joint Festival Celebration is going virtual. They will stream nearly 30 blues acts on Saturday, April 18th from noon until around 9 pm, followed by the world-premiere of the new Ted Reed Productions film Juke Joint Festival Revisited at 9pm.

The festival is FREE, but you will have the opportunity to tip the bands online.

Blues music from the festival can be found LIVE online from Friday the 17th until Tuesday the 21st:

  • Friday: 5pm Sound Check: happy hour with a selection of Clarksdale musicians:  Live From Clarksdale‘s Facebook page.
  • Saturday: noon-10 pm Virtual Juke Joint Festival Celebration on Live From Clarksdale‘s Facebook page.  
  • Sunday: 1-2pm Mississippi Marshall‘s Facebook page: The Social Distancing Tour.  Note: Marshall now hosts his Social Distancing Tour every Sunday at 1 pm.
  • Monday: 6-7pm Daddy Rich on the Bluesberry Cafe Facebook page.
  • Tuesday: 7-8pm Stan Street & the Hopeless Case Band at the Hambone Art Gallery.
