The Cheers and Gears bike ride is presented by Bicycle Revolution as part of the Ridgeland Fine Arts Fest going on this April 3-5th.

Grab your helmet and register TODAY!   

Registration is $45 for Saturday ONLY and $80 for 3-Day Weekend. You can purchase tickets online HERE.

*Online registration ends April 1st at 5 pm.*

 

Friday schedule: 

6:30 – 9:30 am Breakfast provided by hotel

8:00 – 10:00 a.m. – Registration in the Lobby of the Hyatt Place at Highland Colony.  Visitor information, cue sheets, maps and welcome gift provided!

9:45 a.m. – Poker Run Rules Meeting in the Lobby of Hyatt Place

10:00 a.m. – Poker Run starts! Winners receive $25, $50 and $100 Art Vouchers to the Ridgeland Fine Arts Festival.

An unsupported group ride led by local cyclists for the poker run will start at 10:00 a.m.  However, individuals may ride at their leisure throughout the day after obtaining maps and cue sheets at registration. Cards must be returned to registration by 3:00 p.m.

3:00 p.m. – Poker Run Cards must be returned to registration table at Hyatt Place

4:30 – 6:00 p.m. – Cheers and Gears Social at Renaissance Show Fountain

Music, food and drinks, and great fellowship await you at the Cheers and Gears Social. This event is exclusive to Cheers and Gears cyclists with the announcing of the Poker Run winners and an opportunity to mingle with your fellow riders while overlooking the NEW Renaissiance Show Fountain.

6:00 p.m. Dinner on your own at one of Ridgeland’s Award Winning Restaurants!

6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Art, Wine, & Wheels Kick-Off Party with DOCTOR ZARR’S FUNK MONSTER BAND

Saturday schedule: 

7:00 – 10:00 a.m. – Breakfast at hotel

7:30 a.m. – Meet at the Cheers and Gears starting line – Hyatt Place

7:45 a.m – Official welcome by Mayor Gene McGee & last minute Q & A

8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m:Pedal to Pocahontas and the Petrified Forest”

11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. After Ride Catered Lunch at the Ridgeland Fine Arts Festival 

3:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – Enjoy the Ridgeland Fine Arts Festival.

Cheers and Gears Petrified Forrest 45 Mile Route
Cheers and Gears Petrified Forrest 62 Mile Route

All routes begin and end at the Hyatt Place hotel in Ridgeland and will be supported with fully stocked rest stops.


 

Sunday schedule:

7:00 – 10:00 a.m. – Breakfast at hotel

9:30 a.m. – Meet for optional “Hang Over at Bicycle Revolution” ride – Bicycle Revolution: 113 Dess Drive Suite C, Madison, MS 39110

Join the fun at Bicycle Revolution on Sunday morning! Meet up at 9:30 for a guided, historical tour of Gluckstadt 15-mile ride that begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends back at the shop. After your ride, “Hang Over” before you head home (lunch and showers available).
