The Creative Mind Exhibit
Saturday, February 8 from 1 pm – 5 pm
Celebrate African American History Month at the Catfish Row Museum.
They will open, free of charge, Saturday, February 8, a traveling exhibition called “THE CREATIVE MIND.” Learn about outstanding black scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and medical professionals.
At 2:00, Join us for a fun and engaging dancing and drumming workshop and performances on Washington Street Park!
Black Art Now
Thursday, February 20 from 5:45 – 8 pm
Experience Black Art Now with a pop-up exhibition featuring photographs by Justin Hardiman, a fun game of Mississippi Card Revoked centered around our state’s history, and a meet and greet with black business-owners.
Enjoy LIVE MUSIC by local music producers and LIVE PAINTING by Sabrina Howard.
